Located in the centre of Killarney, beside the gates to the National Park, this family-run guest house provides the ideal base from which to explore the Ring of Kerry.

Start each day with a cooked-to-order traditional Irish breakfast before heading out to explore County Kerry. Castle Lodge’s comfortable communal areas include a TV lounge, terrace and gardens.

Public areas have free Wi-Fi, and the lounge has internet access for a small charge.

The friendly staff are very happy to help arrange tours and local activities, jaunting car trips to Muckross House and Ross Castle; tours to the Ring of Kerry, the Dingle Peninsula and Slea Head; or walking, cycling, golf, angling and horse-riding.

Picnic packages are available on request should you wish to enjoy the great outdoors for the day. Area information	The area has plenty of opportunities for outdoor pursuits, such as walking in Killarney's National Park, mountain hiking, touring, fishing, cycling on car-free routes, canoeing, surfing and horse-riding. 42 golf courses, including 10 seaside links, are located within a 2-hour drive of the guest house. Historic castles and abbeys, gardens, entertainment and shops are in abundance.

Travel information	By Car - Castle Lodge is located in Killarney town centre, at the beginning of Muckross Road (N71). - Castle Lodge is the first guest house on the right-hand side of the road after the traffic lights, towards Kenmare / Muckross House.
